Salon Services' Return Policy


Return Policy

Our commitment to our customers is to deliver quality products in a timely manner and in excellent condition.
 To help us fulfill our commitment and reconcile any errors quickly, customers are asked to please follow the guidelines below when checking in your orders:

• Unpack your order immediately upon receipt     
   
• Check what you received against the invoice   
     
• Notify us within 48 hours if you find discrepancies or damaged products


If a return is needed, please note our policy for returns: 
  

All returns must be taken back to the original purchase location. If purchased through Customer Care please contact your Consultant or Customer Care for a Return Authorization and shipping label.

All returns require pre-authorization from the Returns Department unless returned to a showroom location. Only material approved for return will be processed for credit.  Any product returned without authorization will not be credited and will be returned at the customer's expense.

Discontinued product or product in outdated packaging will not be accepted for return.

All products returned other than defective products must be clean, in original packaging without damage (dents, glue, scratches, stickers etc). Items not received in resale condition will not be eligible for credit and will be returned at the customer's expense. If returning damaged product, please send in a sealed bag apart from other returned material.

 All defective items must be returned within 60 days of purchase to receive credit. Defective items are items that do not function (ex. full hairspray bottle that won't spray).

Products returned due to allergic reaction must be sent back within 60 days of purchase.

Products returned that were purchased as part of a promotion will be credited to relect the actual cost savings.

All refused orders and customer overstock returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee, regardless of purchase date. 

Restocking fees are based on days from original purchase date. (See below)

15-50 days   20%
60+ days       Returns will not be accepted on purchases older than 60 days
 

No Cash refunds.  All credits will be refunded back to customers by debit/credit card. Any products returned without prior authorization will not receive credit and will be returned to the customer at their expense.

Dermalogica - Certified Accounts
Retail products returned within 60 days from date of purchase due to allergic reaction will be exchanged with one of the same product. NO empty bottles will be accepted for replacement. NO returns accepted on Dermalogica professional series. NO substitution or credit-on-account will be allowed.
 

Youngblood Due to our quality standards regarding sanitation, we will not accept any cosmetic product return unless the product is defective.   

Miscellaneous
Hair or body accessories, apparel, and back bar products are not returnable.
Due to our quality standards regarding sanitation, we will not accept any cosmetic, skin care or hair piece product returns unless the product is defective or due to an allergic reaction.   Examples : Lano, LiLash, Fake Bake, Tan Towels, Spornette  

 

Product lines that are no longer distributed by Salon Services will not be accepted for return.


 

Education Refund Policy

Cancelled Events
Salon Services will inform you of the cancellation and refund the amount you paid for your tickets on the same payment method used for purchase.

Rescheduled Events
Salon Services will contact you with the new date and time.

Refunds & Exchanges
All education ticket sales and class fees are FINAL and NON REFUNDABLE.

In the event that you are unable to attend, you may submit a written cancellation request via email to education@salonservicesnw.com no later than 72 hours prior to the event. Upon review and approval from Salon Services, reimbursement will be  issued up to 50% in the form of store credit.
