Sometimes angels have a face—
the Angels in the Kevin.Murphy PINK.RIBBON.PAK do,
and her name is Sydney Berry.
As most of you know, Sydney Berry is the owner of Salon Services & Supplies. She is well known and respected throughout the professional beauty industry for her incredible leadership and for the absolute passion she has for promoting the future and health of our industry.
She has served in several leadership positions on the board of the Professional Beauty Association and received numerous recognitions through the years.
But one of the most amazing things about Sydney has nothing to do with her professional accomplishments. One of the most amazing things about Sydney is her courage. Sydney's courage has enabled her to build a career which has defied boundaries, starting as the first consultant hired by the company that she now co-owns with partners Miles Berry and George Learned.
But perhaps the most beautiful expression of her courage lies in her personal life.
The Pink.Ribbon.Pak was dedicated to Sydney Berry by Kevin.Murphy because Sydney is a three time survivor of breast cancer.
In addition to the courage with which she has faced her personal battles, looking this monster squarely in the face and saying, "No!", she also regularly walks through the journey of fighting breast cancer with other women, lending advice, recommending books and resources, reviewing diagnosis and treatment plan— Sydney lends her courage to those who need it most, when they need it most.
