Hair Etc "Styling Event & Fundraiser"
$2,800November 5th, 2010 Hair Etc hosted a Styling Event and Fundraiser for dear friend and long time Salon Services consultant, Tami Hollins, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. A fun filled night with raffle prizes, styling tips, and donations totaling over $2800 for Tami and her family. |

$9,500October 8th, 2010 Phagans' Cosmetology College held their annual "Marathon Day" with 50% of all service sales for the entire day going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. With a cumulative effort from all six locations, Phagans' was able to raise over $9500!

$17,885 The Rock Star Stella Cut-A-Thon raised over $17,885 with the assistance of 20 salons and over 61 individual stylists who donated their time and a full day of services to raise funds for Stella, daughter of Salon Owner Dayna Cakebread who was diagnosed with leukemia last March.

$15,000 "Cuts for the Cure" was developed by Lisa Power Salon in Seattle, WA as an annual fundraising event in which all salon services and retail sales for the entire day are donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation. Lisa and her team have raised over $15,000 to help support the Susan G. Komen foundation over the past three years! |

Salon Services' annual Friends and Family Showroom Savings Event is scheduled for Dec. 3, 4 & 6 in all 13 showroom locations. However, this year Salon Services has teamed together with top vendors to create "Hero" products in which 25% of the product's total sales will go to support staff members battling cancer. Participating vendors include, Kevin Murphy, LiLash, Tri, Moroccanoil, Brocato, Davines, AG and Dermalogica!

The fight against breast cancer became a personal struggle for us at
Salon Services
again this year when two of our beloved sales consultants were
recently diagnosed with cancer. We would like to thank the entire salon community
for their support and fundraising efforts directed towards the health and
well being of these two incredible women and their families.
