Animal Testing…STILL?

0animaltesting

We were shocked when we came across PETA’s (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) website recently and found a list of companies that actively test their products on animals.

…yes you read that right.

Apparently animal testing is not a thing of the past. In fact, many large corporations like Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson and Unilever (among thousands of others) are currently at fault.

What’s even more concerning? You could be supporting animal testing without even knowing it. From your purchases at the drug store to what you recommend to your clients, the multitude of products tested on animals is alarming.

Popular salon brands like: LOREAL (which owns brands  KERASTASE, REDKEN, MATRIX, etc), VIDAL SASSOON, and SEBASTIAN are listed on PETA’s site as major offenders.

Animal testing is cruel, inhumane and unnecessary, especially in today’s day and age. I, personally could not be more thankful to work for a distributor that thoroughly researches and partners with companies that promote cruelty-free and sustainable products.

Thank you to Loma, Pearatin, Youngblood, Kevin Murphy, Davines…. the list goes on.

YOU can keep pressure on those responsible for animal testing by pledging to be Cruelty Free. For more information, visit: www.peta.org
