Anne Pennington | Anne Pennington, Dermalogica NW Regional Educator & Brand Specialist has 25 years of industry experience in teaching, managing, sales and marketing. She is a Licensed Skin Care Therapist dedicated and passionate about skin care. She is a Reiki Master and a Micro-Current Specialist. |
Alberto Ruiz | Alberto is the owner and creative director of Switch, one of the top salons in Salt Lake City. Born in New York and raised in Puerto Rico, Alberto has been doing hair since 1982. Alberto considers himself a holistic hairdresser, addressing the total image needs of his clients. One of his true passions is motivating and empowering stylists to master their technical skills, and have fun while doing so. Alberto is excited to be a part of the Kevin.Murphy education team and can't wait to share his knowledge, passion and love for the brand's philosophy and products. |
| Dale Tu Kevin.Murphy & Marcia  | Dale Tu got his start in the industry in 2003, studying cosmetology at the Headmasters School of Hair Design in Boise, ID. While there, Dale competed in many national hair competitions and brought home multiple trophies as a student, followed by numerous competition wins as a professional. Dale chose to be an educator for Kevin Murphy simply because he fully believes in the Kevin.Murphy philosophy: Strength, Moisture and Regeneration. |
Donna Parker
| As Education Sales Manager, Donna is our one-stop-shop for everything Kevin.Murphy! A trend-setting, fashion forward and energetic girl herself, Donna is the perfect fit for this spunky brand from down under. Previously a Skin Sales Consultant in our Northern Oregon territory, Donna is excited for this new transition and can't wait to bring a little Aussie flair to your salon! |
Emmett Henley | Emmett is a skilled cosmetologist/educator and just recently opened Vasuda Salon in Seattle, WA. Emmett has had an uninterrupted career working as a stylist for over 18 years. His positions in the beauty industry have included: educator, consultant, product developer, salon owner, education director, platform/runway stylist, editorial stylist and creative director. Emmett has been recognized for quality and excellence in national and local publications such as; Self Magazine (best textured hair stylist), Minnesota Monthly, Minneapolis Star Tribune and Modern Salon Magazine. |
Jessee Skittrall | Salon Services is thrilled to welcome back industry veteran and international educator, Jessee Skittrall. Currently a stylist, colorist and Salon Owner, Jessee previously worked with Salon Services as the original Kadus Brand Manager and Brocato Regional Educator. He went on to obtain certifications from the American Board of Certified Haircolorists, the International Board of Certified Haircolorists and to work with top name artists including Sam Brocato, Mary Brunetti, Ruth Roche, Vivienne Mackinder, Melissa Stone and Michael O’Rourke. |
| Jolene Lauwers Brocato Brand Manager  | Previously our Washington Regional Manager, Jolene has transitioned to focus on her true passion: education. Now Brocato Brand Manager, Jolene travels across the Northwest educating salons and stylists on the Brocato philosophy. |
| Kristal Baker Davines Brand Manager  | Kristal is a compassionate and engaging instructor that will challenge you to new levels of awareness. With over 15 years behind the chair, her thirst for knowledge and skill have led to more than 10 years as an educator. Starting with extensive training in color from Framesi, Kadus, Joico, Wella, Davines and a blend of cutting techniques derived from training in both Italian and French cutting methods with a foundation in Vidal Sassoon; Kristal continues her journey by persistently pushing herself to be a better leader, teacher and hairdresser. In class, Kristal has a gift for making the most complex thoughts and techniques simple, understandable and fun. |
| Mike Kowallis Brocato  | Mike Kowallis began his professional cosmetology career almost 10 years ago. Mike is the owner of Metropolitan Salon in Provo, Utah and works as a National Educator for Brocato. Mike's background includes time spent as a full time hairdresser, instructor at a number of cosmetology schools and has worked alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, including Sam Brocato himself. |
| Roger Forbush DS Labs Brand Manager  | With over 38 years experience in the beauty industry, Roger has been a Sales Consultant with Salon Services for over 25 years and owned his own salon for 14 years in Ogden, UT. He is currently the Brand Manager for DS Laboratories, bringing the latest technology in hair re-growth to the Northwest. Nicknamed "Road Warrior Roger Forbush," his work mantra is, "Have fun, its just shampoo- with a little rocket science!" |
| Selina Boon Kevin.Murphy  | Selina Boon has always been in love with fashion and the idea of making people feel beautiful. Selina attended Seattle's Greenwood Academy of Hair, apprenticed with Joe Carling (owner of Mode Organic Salon) and studied Classic Cutting at Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica. Selina is currently a Hair Designer and Creative Lead for the Mode Artistic Team, at Mode Organic Salon. When Mode brought on Kevin.Murphy as one of its main haircare lines, she fell in love with the line's performance and beauty philosophy. She believes firmly that people should invest in themselves and rock what they've got! |
Tim Abney | Kevin Murphy Style Master, Tim Abney, has over a ten years experience in the industry. Skilled in the components of editorial styling, Tim is known for creating a fun and inspirational atmosphere for learning. A teacher at heart, Tim looks for every opportunity to share his skill set with others in the industry. He believes that continuing education is the key to success. |
